The trusty Toyota Avalon has been on the market for 25 years. During this time, the luxury-sport sedan has become known for its strong engine, upscale interior, and aerodynamic design. The Avalon entered its fifth generation in 2019 and cruises into 2020 with a new trim level, the Avalon TRD. Toyota has other TRD models, which are very common in off-roading vehicles like the Sequoia, 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra and RAV4; however, 2020 is the first year the TRD model is introduced on both Avalon and Camry models.
In addition to the new trim level, the Avalon also has updates to entertainment technology and Toyota Safety Sense™ P, the brand’s suite of advanced driver-assistance and safety features. The 2020 Toyota Avalon is available in eight trim levels and three of them are hybrid models. The Avalon models include XLE, Hybrid XLE, XSE, Hybrid XSE, TRD, Touring, Limited and Hybrid Limited.
