Come down to the 17th annual AIDS Walk/5K Run and Festival and have a great time with your family and friends. There will be a lot of family attractions in addition to the run/walk itself. Maybe the timed 5k run is a reason for you to get out and get back in shape while supporting a great cause or maybe you just want to support a cause and enjoy a leisurely family-friendly walk on a picturesque route. So, slip on those running shoes, grab the stroller, the kids and the family pet and come join in the family fun while advancing a worthy cause at the AIDS Walk/5k Run.

Wait...the fun doesn’t stop there. After you are through with the walk/run portion there is still more fun to be had. Sit back, relax and enjoy live entertainment as well as a free picnic lunch for you to enjoy with friends and family. You can also take the time to enjoy the beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary located at Stanley Park. Explore the countless gardens and trails, but keep your eyes peeled for dinosaur tracks while you go on your family adventures. There are also playgrounds, basketball courts and soccer fields for excessive amounts of fun. Come out and join in the family fun and support AIDS research, but keep an eye on your health as well with free and confidential HIV testing.
