Official Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Release Date
Manufactured in San Antonio, the all-new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is expected to arrive at Gale Toyota in the fall of 2016. Featuring a bold design that is built on the current Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road trim foundation, the amplified TRD Pro edition will take style and performance to new levels. Available in a 4×4 Double Cab Short Bed configuration with three exterior colors — Super White, Barcelona Red Metallic and Cement to choose from — you will be hard pressed to find a more attractive midsize pickup.

Official Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Design and Features
Bold and aggressive are key characteristics of the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro design. With TRD detailing throughout the design and the performance-tuned elements to support a hardcore style, there is a lot to love about this truck. Vivid exterior colors are contrasted by black accents and equipment that include 16-inch TRD black alloy wheels with Kevlar-reinforced tires, a black hood scoop, black TOYOTA grille, TRD badging and Rigid Industries LED fog lights.
Inside the Tacoma TRD Pro cabin, you will be confronted by boundless luxury. Black TRD heated leather front seats feature TRD logos and provide unrivaled comfort. Technology is another asset of the Tacoma TRD Pro interior, offering active safety systems like Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert in addition to Toyota Entune Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and a standard GoPro camera mount.


Under the hood, the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro has the performance components to support its off-road flair. Equipped with the all-new 3.5-liter Atkinson cycle V-6 power platform, the new Tacoma model blends power and efficiency. Four-wheel drive is a given with any TRD Pro model and this edition employs an innovative 4WDemand part-time system that includes an electronically-controlled transfer case, Automatic Limited Slip Differential and locking rear differential.
Those off-road features are just the tip of the TRD Pro iceberg. Toyota Racing Development kicked it up a notch with TRD-tuned FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks, TRD-tuned front springs, a TRD-tuned rear suspension and a 1-inch lift. When faced with rocky terrain, the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro puts a Crawl Control feature into action and provides a Toyota Multi-terrain Select System to further augment off-road performance in a variety of extreme terrains.
