2021 Avalon XSE Nightshade Edition Model and New Color Options

Toyota already offers a Nightshade Edition for other Toyota models — and now the Toyota Avalon is getting the Nightshade treatment as well with the XSE Nightshade Edition model. It has many blacked-out elements, including a black grille, rear spoiler, mirror caps, name badges, window trim, door trim, shark fin antenna, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The blacked-out elements of the Avalon XSE Nightshade Edition go very well with the three available exterior color options: Midnight Black Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, and Wind Chill Pearl.

For other Avalon models, there’s a new-for-2021 Blueprint exterior color option. The Limited trim offers a new Black interior, while the Touring and XSE Hybrid trims offer a new Cognac with Black interior.

All-Wheel Drive Capabilities of the 2021 Toyota Avalon

Automotive consumers in recent years have increasingly desired vehicles that have an all-wheel drive system for enhanced traction. Previously, all-wheel drive systems were mostly only available for SUVs and trucks, but now sedans are starting to offer an all-wheel drive system. Toyota first offered an all-wheel drive system for the 2020 Camry midsize sedan and now for the 2021 model-year, the Avalon (XLE and Limited trims) can be equipped with an all-wheel drive system.
